On my way to the black zones, gonna do what I'm told

Moriarty - Private Lily

My name is Lily
I'm nineteen years old
No money to study; no boyfriend;
I'm kinda bored...

I went to the trade fair
To find a job
There I met a few guys from the army
They told me
That I was smart and pretty

Theo Stockman - Hallelujah

Not lol :( Theo! How can you be such a creeper at certain times and so extremely heartbreaking at others! The man contains multitudes.

This performance is from "The Last Goodbye": Romeo & Juliet + The Music of Jeff Buckley. I remember hearing about that when it was going on and knowing a couple of the people performing in it (from other shows, not personally, duh)... Wish I'd gone! If this clip is anything to by, it was not a bad show. Or Theo was rather good in it, at the very least.

Panic! at the Disco - There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey (You Just Haven't Thought of It Yet)

Lol am I seriously posting this song? Yes. Sadly I couldn't find any "black slacks with accentuating off-white pinstripes, oo-woah-oh," so instead we'll have to make do with this fabulously pretentious $150 jacket from Free People.

And look what you're ignoring...

Today's post inspired by & dedicated to my friend Emma, who gets hit on by too many creeps.

Into the Woods - Hello Little Girl (London Cast)

My first time seeing any clips from the London production! Rather different from the American take -- at least in the general styling of the Wolf...

Into the Woods - Hello Little Girl (Broadway)

I love the American wolf, Robert Westenberg; I think he's one entertaining B.A.M.F. and no mistake (plus I dig the loud jacket and kneesocks, haha)... buuuut I may be digging the London wolf, Clive Carter, even more. Not in every single aspect, but on the whole. He's especially great in the verses when he's interacting with Red and persuading her. ((I vastly prefer the American Little Red to the British one, though.))

Like everyone and their dog (wolf?), I was in a student production of Into the Woods in high school. Our Little Red and Wolf were actually both pretty great, and aptly cast; offstage Red's actress was a spunky lass, Wolf's actor sort of a persistent weirdling. O, memories...
