Super Skinny Jean, Dark Ink Wash - American Eagle


These jeans are marvelous. I bought a pair about two weeks ago and I can't stop wearing them. American Eagle's jeans are generally very comfortable, and seem to be quite well made (for instance, I've never had AE jeans wear through at the thigh like with other brands)... My only beef with them is that sometimes they also look kind of thick when they're on, so they aren't the most flattering to your legs.

But these are different. At first, when the girl in the store suggested the "super skinny jean," I was skeptical. Wary, even. But I really liked the "dark ink wash", and they didnt have my size for it in the normal skinny. Only the super skinny. So, I shrugged my shoulders and took them to the dressing room... and thus began a beautiful friendship. I guess it makes sense, that for a place where the jeans look kind of thick, you'd want to go for the most streamlined cut they offer. Mmmm I love them. $40 is more than I usually spend on jeans, but it's looking like I'm gonna get a whole lot of mileage out of them, so I think it's justified.
